I have to take time to share a good idea, especially since, if it works, I'll have a chance to increase my burgeoning profits from this 1776Patriot blog enterprise. At last look, I'm almost up to $20 that I've received from people clicking on the ads on the pages of my blog.
Earlier today, I posted a piece about how there was an ad to support BO - no, not Body Odor - Barack Obama for president. I thought it strange or, maybe even, conspiratorial that such an ad would appear on my blog site. But, on closer inspection I noticed that there was an ad selling teleprompters directly below the one for BO.
When I was done laughing, I wrote the aforementioned blog. In response, Tim, from Patriots United, sent a suggestion that I ask people to come to my site and click on Obama's ad. It is with a significant degree of confidence that I am sharing that idea with you now.
And why, for goodness sake, should you click on the Obama ad? (You can't see it but I'm smiling a devilish little smile right now) Because, every time we click on the Obama ad they have to pay for that click. My hope is that this idea will move beyond my blog site; my hope is that the idea will go viral and Obama will pay millions of dollars for fraudulent clicks, which is morally defensible since he's a fraud as a president.
The confidence I require is in relation to what happens when one of you clicks on the Obama ad. We know that the first thing to happen is that they'll travel the Internet to the Support Obama Web site. There, if this were any other time, such as a time when the difference between a conservative and a liberal wasn't so frighteningly vast, I might worry that the message they'd come upon would sway them to the dark side. They'd arrive at the Obama site hoping to spend Obama's dime and, zombie like, wind up supporting the BO.
But, I don't have to worry about that. I'm sure someone from the BO campaign will write some compelling nonsense that seeks to wrap BO in the American flag. But, it's not going to work. We've seen and smelled enough of BO that we're not going to be fooled. So, click away. Have a click on me. "This is one big click for man and another big click for mankind."
And, if I make a little cash in the process, hey, it's OK. I'm a capitalist.
